The sportscaster on WLKY has said three times, "I finally found some UK fans."
I don't know why they're making a story out of the poor attendance. Clearly UK has had a down season. Clearly we got the worst imaginable draw right beside UCONN.
But why oh why must Louisville fans even bring it up? Do they not know what they're getting themselves into?
Do they not realize the two ton anvil of smack we can lay on them at this precise moment? :D

Probably covering it because nobody wants to see the NIT. Even their own sportscators go to Philly to watch the real games.

This morning the local radio stations were advertising that there were still tickets available for tonight's NIT game at freedom hall. 15,000 Kentucky fans traveled to Nashville for a conference tournament that we knew we were probably not going to win and they can't even sell out their own home floor for their tourney game!!!???:>:ggrin:

Our sportscaster on scene, the distinguished Harvey Smilovitz, is bringing up the same sort of things. He was interviewing 'Nova and 'Zona fans asking "What's your team's mascot?" and stupid stuff like that. It was downright pathetic. He did interview someone that looked like they were painted up as a Blueheart, though.

I heard on the radio this morning that only 10,000 seats had been sold for UL's game tonight.:lol:
