I remember watching DePaul on WGNwhenIwas 13yrs oldand liking players like Tyrone Corbin and Dallas Comegys(what a name).

He had some great teams when Aguire played for them. I remember St. Joesephs(I believe that was the team) beat them with a 40 footer one year-before the 3 point shot existed.

Wasn't Depaul a really high seed one year and got knocked out early in the tournament? Maybe that's the game you're referring to. Seems like the story went that after that game, Mark Aguire walked back to the hotel in his uniform.

Yes, I believe they were like 30-2 thatyear but going on my memory.

What other coaches have coached 4 decades at one school. I can only think of Rupp andPaterno in football.

Mark Aguire was a stud back in those days...wow WGN, that brings back memories of the old Bulls too...DAllas Comegys? Really?

For some reason I think it was a lowly-regarded (that year) UCLA team that knocked #1 ranked DePaul in the first round . . .1981 or 82, maybe???
