why is Hopson on the west team? I mean, I'm pretty sure that Kentucky is closer to the east than the west; or do they do it by AAU teams? Just thought I'd throw that out there. Could be a dumb question.

Isn't Singleton from Atlanta on the West, too?

He went to the basket every time he got the ball; and finished; that's what's important. (except for the air-ball he had, he's hustling though!)

And Brandon Jennings plays at Oak Hill but is on the West

I was getting ready to start a thread on that. It wasnt even his ankle though, Steve Nash grabbed his knee. Then Shaq gave him some grief on the bench. Almost like when Iverson shook MJ his first year. But Nash isnt quite Jordan

Hopson is a great player. I have a gut feeling he will be a Kentucky Wildcat next year.

The east has greater population density and I'd imagine overall talent (no slight to Texas and Cali on either note), so they have to balance the teams out.

And Rondo isn't quite Iverson either.

The East (geographically) is loaded this year with talent so they needed to balance the roster on both sides 12 versus 12.

I didn't get to see the game, how did the different players look overall? Especially Hopson.

I'd love to add him to the roster......doesn't Gilliespie want athletes? he is for sure an athlete, but his mentality may not fit Gilliespie's gameplan. I still would love to have him........I'll be sick if he goes to UT or Loserville.

Living in Chattanooga all I hear about is UT basketball, and...everyone saying they have a good feeling he likes UT and that they will get him.

Looking at UK stuff all the time all I read is that people saying they have a good feeling he likes UK and that we will get him...

at this point...I am not sure....

I think UT fits his game better...plus not having to go through boot camp probably sounds good to a kid looking to go 1 and done....I think he goes to UT...but I hope I am wrong.

I think the further UT goes in the tourney, the chances they get him goes up.
