Even though I'm not posting on this forum anymore, there was no way I could NOT post this once and offer my congrats on one incredible effort. I know there is no such thing as a moral victory, but no one who watched that game reasonably could accuse the Cards of not being prepared and not being on top of their game. If you guys played anyone else left in the tournament, you probably would have won going away. This is just a TarHeel buzzsaw we're witnessing.
Super effort and one you all can be proud of.

I agree I wanted UNC to win, but they gave UNC all they wanted

I was pulling for the Cards. Living in Charlotte makes me despise UNC and Duke more than I ever thought was possibly human.

I was hoping to walk into the office on Monday and just smile but now I have to root for Kansas.

Thanks,

That was a tough loss to endure. The crowd was definitely pro-UNC, the officiating was a bit inconsistent, and some key plays could easily have went the other way. Hansborough is a beast. Almost as good as Harangoody or whatever his name is at ND.

I use to live in North Carolina as well and I hate UNC more than any team. Great effort Louisville and it took a great game by Tyler Hansbrough to knock you guys off.

Great effort for sure, but that's about it. Louisville seemed to be expending all of their energy just to stay with Carolina.

Thankfully they didn't win though. I don't think I could handle seeing them in this year's FF.

Just because Harangody lit you guys up, doesn't mean he's better than Hansbrough. It's not even close. Good game BTW. I was torn who to root for since I hate both UNC and UL. UNC was good for my brackets so I'm glad they won.

I don't even think Harangody is that good, it just seems like he discovered his three point shot against UofL. He gets his points, but UNC is still in the tourney, ND isn't.

Hansbrough is absurd though, he is the defintion of hustle and heart, I hope my future kids can watch this guy play in the pros.

What was the deal with Caracter? 5 minutes in the first half, and in those five minutes more than once he was just walking up the court, seeming not to care about getting back on defense in one instance and seemingly disinterested in getting ahead on offense in another. 3 rebounds in 5 minutes was great, but he didn't play at all in the second half did he. I don't even remember seeing him in the huddles in the second half.

Padgett certainly coulda used him for a breather a few times. 34 minutes is too many minutes for Padgett to have played.

Almost seems as Caracter might have hung his teammates out to dry when they needed him most. Perhaps the outcome might have been the same, but a few minutes of play when it was tied might have inched `em a bit closer, or at least would have helped keep Padgett fresh.
