Bill Keightley the UK manager fell at the Great American ballpark today and is critical condition and he is surgery right now
I think we can all put away the smack for a minute and say a prayer for his recovery

He was a great person! I got to see and meet him at the Craft Center Tour and he was the nicest guy you could ever want to meet. He greeted and meet everyone that walked though the door. He had his famous smile on display as usual. He will me missed in so many ways. I agree with a poster on the main board that chair next to Billy should be left open from now until the end of time as a tribute to Bill (or at the very least next season).

And as each player in the Blue and White goes out for the opening tip he gives it a little tap in his honor.

Even though our rivalry is sometimes rough, I think it's because deep down we respect each other. Two of the greatest were Bill "Mr. Wildcat" Keightley, and Cawood Ledford. Those two can't and won't be replaced.

Its hard to find a picture of Mr. Wildcat where he isnt smiling. There wasnt anyone more loyal to a school in the entire nation, and the loyalty came from such a great man.

And I feel sick for the Stone family. In case everyone hasnt heard, there was no doctor in the arena, atleast no one with more knowledge than how to "treat a sprained ankle" it was said. Its such a shame.

Especially since he had a family history of heart problems. Some of these foreign leagues are just not managed very well at all. When you invest in highly skilled athletes, you should also invest highly in their health and well being.
