A word of warning to anyone traveling to San Antonio

If you are traveling to San Antonio anytime in the future, make sure you take anything of value out of your vehicle before leaving it. It doesn't matter where you are going to be. I'm down here for the Final Four Slam Dunk and 3 Point contest working for ESPN, and our truck was broken into in broad daylight. Someone smashed a back window out in our hotel parking lot and my backpack containing my digital SLR, a zoom lens, and my ipod was taken from the back seat. Obviously there's not a whole lot the police can do about it, and I don't know if insurance will cover any of it. So if you go to San Antonio, make sure you take precautions to prevent this from happening.

Those precautions go for traveling anywhere.

When we travel and stop overnight I insist on taking all of our luggage and valuables (camera, portable dvd player, etc) into the hotel room, even though we don't need but a change of clothes and toiletries.:thumbup:

Yes it does...I had this same thing happen to me right here in Louisville at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium
and my car insurance did cover what was stolen after you pay the deductiable of course
