Folks,
We have been going to LBL for a week in October for years, but the Feds new reservation system is such that we can't get a site this year, much less the three that we need.
So, we are looking for ideas for a different destination. The perfect spot would be an RV park with big sites, easy access, water, electric and sewer (if possible) hookups and near things to do. For example, in LBL we hiked, played golf, etc.
I know there are some RVers on here, so I hoping someone has a recommendation. We would be interested in anything within 4 hours of LEX.
Thanks everyone, we appreciate any help.

Camping at Dale Hollow (http://www.dalehollow.com/camping.htm)
Would put you close to Golf at Dale Hollow (http://www.dalehollow.com/golf.htm)
Plenty of historical sites nearby and Cumberland Falls isn't too far away.

Terry, for a week, KY to Y & back, in an RV, would let you enough time wave at Old Faithful as you turned around to head home.
