Fighting Illini in the Mix

Adrian Cannon, the No. 52 prospect, in the Midwest, according to Scout.com, had a very busy summer. The 6-foot-3, 195-pound, wide receiver, from Pontiac (Mich.) Avondale, is receiving several phone calls from college coaches and he's begun to narrow down his school choices.
"I have scholarship offers from North Carolina , Illinois , Iowa State , Kentucky , Maryland , Bowling Green , Toledo and Ball State ." Adrian Cannon said.
"My favorites right now are Michigan , Illinois, Florida State , Miami (Fla.) and Iowa State.
"I don't have a favorite right now and I haven't set up any official visits yet. Right now I'm looking at taking my official visits at the end of the season.
"Last night I got calls from Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, Iowa State, Central, Eastern and Western Michigan."
Cannon is a four-year varsity starter for Avondale. He had 620 yards and scored 12 touchdowns as a junior. So far in 2005, Cannon had 30 solo tackles and an interception on defense and also has 22 receptions and 6 touchdowns on offense.
