View Full Version : IU's Crean calls cops on a player.
freethrow

If already posted here, I'm sorry.
Evidently this player, Eli Holman, wanted to transfer and in the meeting with Crean he became agitated and threw a potted plant.
Holman is a 6'9" 4 star player that will be set free. Sounds as if the kid may have some issues though?

What's the problem with throwing a potted plant...General Knight once threw a chair and kept his job :shrug1:;)

Murdering innocent plants is how it always begins! Next thing you know he'll be keeping his family locked in a cellar and...you get the idea.
It just never gets old, all this bad news for IU! I love it. :)

Yeah - but that's just because he was a genius who was only trying to extract the best from his players. Don't you remember that part??

Crean needs to pick up that plat and talk to it, make it feel better.
And if the player threw Crean's pot plant, the player deserves to be gone.

Just guessing, but was it Lynn Nance?

Old Joe B. got the last laugh in the regional final, though. My favorite game of all time. I will always remember the camera man panning to the stands to Knight's wife, crying her eyes out. I guess she knew she would be the next one smacked in the head by Knight.

I seem to recall a player was going to do the same thing, but can't remember who.

The IU situation kind of makes the BCG transition at UK look smooth as silk.
