LSU completes Sweep over the BatCats

LSU rallied in the 9th inning to take a 8-7 win and a series sweep over the BatCats this afternoon in Lexington. LSU won both games of a double-header on Saturday 3-1 and 12-5.

This puts the Cats in a tough situation heading into the final 6 games of the SEC schedule.

UK is tied with Tennessee for 5th place in the East and trails 3rd place Florida/South Carolina by 2 games.

I went to the game on Sunday. That game winning HR hit by Clark was launched out of Cliff Hagan stadium over the right field wall. If the Bat Cats are going to do anything come SEC and NCAA tourney time they NEED to sure up the bullpen.

That one surely hurt, especially after we had led by five runs. Also, that the starter had only given up one run in nine innings Friday night, before we lost in the tenth, also hurt. The bullpen HAD recently been doing better. Yes, I hear you.
