KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- In a tie for the eighth and final spot in the Southeastern Conference Tournament with Tennessee, the No. 22 Kentucky baseball team hits the road for its final road series of the season, a pivotal three-game set with the Volunteers, beginning on Friday at 7 p.m. ET at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

The Bat Cats' game today is being shown on Fox Sports South (DirectTV, 631). :) It's 0-0 at the end of the first, after Cowgill threw out a UT runner who was attempting to score. :icon_biggrin: The Cats SO need another win against the Vols. Good luck, Bat Cats!

It's now one more to go to get the sweep over the Vols. :icon_biggrin: Too, wow! Today's 5-2 win was realy fun to watch. :big_grin: Not only did the Cats get fine pitching and a couple of home runs, but also they played GREAT defense. I love outstanding defensive plays, and the Cats made several, including a couple by leftfielder Cowgill and one by third baseman McClinndon (spelling?). I hope a lot of you were able to watch this one.
