Congrats again Cats on the SWEEP against the ugly orange. propelled us to 3rd place in the SEC east, 5.5 out and just 1.5 games behind vandy for 2nd. there are currently 3 teams (msu, aub, and ut) who cannot catch us, therefore we have at least 9th place overall locked up. we sit in a 4-way tie for 4th place overall (at 14-13) with uf, bama, and ole miss and we host ole miss this weekend. we're 26-5 at home this year, best in the SEC. I'd think if we take at least 2 this weekend, we're easily in the tournament.
all we have to do is make it to Hoover, and we'll have a good chance of winning the whole thing. georgia has cooled, hottest team now is lsu, the laughing stock about 3 weeks ago, but with a 12 game win streak have gone from worst to first in the west. But they may be peaking too early...let's hope.
