bittersweet ending

After a season like this one, I think a game like that was a perfect ending. I just wish things would have turned out different in that game. It kills me when they put out that much heart and it doesn't pay off. Also, I've dreaded seeing pat's last game all year, I can't imagine him not playing next year. He will be a favorite for years. I'm just glad he went out on a bang and saved his very best for last.

It's always tough watching someone you like play there last game, I knew before the game started that was going to be our last one, it was just too much to ask. I've been tough on Sparks at times but will miss him next year. I'm still having a hard time not seeing Chuck Hayes on the floor.

This isn't meant to be a bash, but if they had shown that kind of heart all season, this game would have come in the Final Four instead of the second round.
