Brandon is visiting their campus and I am hoping Duke doesn't take the top spot as I believe KY is on top right now. Just a feeling I have about him and the things I've read who have insight on his recruitment. An article on rivals.com said he is one of their two primary targets for their recruiting class (Lance Thomas is the other) so they expect Duke to turn up the heat. Let's hope he comes away unimpressed!!

It is hard to not be impressed with the Duke Campus. One of the most beautiful campuses I have ever seen.

And they have recent success and history as a great basketball school.

They were even more impressive with their academics... a great school.

I dont see that PT that they have... if he went to one of the Tobacco road schools... it would be UNC-Chapel Hill.

UK vs Duke in the recruitment of a top five prospect, where will he go ? Greg seems to think UK, which in turn could mean Duke has a great shot... where do you honestly think he will go.

Honestly... I dont see him anywhere else but UK... I am not predicting. I know some of you want me to... and then be wrong to chastise me... but thats ok, us mensa people can handle it...

LMAO

I agree it would be hard for anywhere but UK, but Duke always has some slim up their sleeves.

I just dont see it... their specific beat writers have all but written him off to UK. Some of their posters are still hopeful but most of THEM have said its UK to lose.

If K pulls it off... and I dont think he will... then it will be because of promising something grandiose.

I would love to say that... but it isnt true. My daughter (when I lived in Charlotte, and she was a HS student in Charlotte) her chorus got to sing at the Duke Chapel. It was INCREDIBLE.

Yeah I would love to... but it would be a big ole lie.

Gotta go with Greg on this one. Duke's campus is gorgeous. I attended a wedding at Duke Chapel - it indeed was incredible.

Yada Yada.. Duke campus is beautiful.. I hear ya guys and I've heard the stories too. But a beautiful campus doesn't make a basketball program great! :)

Amen! EKU has a beautiful campus; but our basketball teams always sucked.

No connection between the two.

No good-looking campus, no strategic commercials, no chapel will ever take take away the wrinkled-heads, whiney coaches, paid referees or players that step and punch ours. I hate duke. Always will. Until i invent a time machine and go back in time and tell Pitino to guard the inbounds pass. untill that day....i hate duke.

My 5 most hated teams (in case anyone was wondering, but probably wasn't)

1) Duke
2) KU
3) Louisville
4) Florida
5) Michigan St.

runners up: UAB, Marquette, UNC

runners up: UAB, Marquette, UNCI agree with most of these, but you have to respect Michigan St.... they do it right (alot like us)...and there is a mutual respect amongst fans.

Have to agree... Why the "non-love" for Michigan State. Izzo is one of Tubby's most ardent admirers. Izzo does things the right way. He praised UK in each game we played against them. His teams play tough but fair. I have nothing but TOTAL respect for Michigan State. In fact I am to the point that if we dont win it.. I hope THEY do.
