Hello everyone, just found this site and I'm glad I did. I, I'm sure like the rest of you are lifetime UK fans. I grew up in the Lexington area but currently live in Western Ky, but as of Feb 2008 I'm living on a small FOB in South Eastern Afghanistan. I don't get live games of any kind out here but it will still be cool to keep in contact with a group of people who care as much about the Wildcats as I do! Hope to chat soon.

i'll check again, but i put one in my sig and its not showing. its well under the limits that i saw. i'll check it again...maybe i didnt do something right, you know how all boards are different.

Thanks for all the comments, you guys really know how to make someone feel welcome. I'm in Zabol right outside of Qalat on a very small FOB (forward operating base) called FOB Lane. The locals call it Deh Chopan, I don't know why because the village of Deh Chopan is actually on the other side of the country. There are about 45 of us here, very small as I said. Thank you to everyone who supports us being here, even if you don't believe in the war or the president..everyone has an opinion, even here! But thanks and I'm sure we'll see each other on the boards.

I didn't mention this in my post, but support for anyone serving in the military is dear to me. They are America's sons and daughters. This is especially true for me, as it could be for many on this board, due to the service of close family members and friends. My prayers are that all who are there stay safe and know that the important role they have in this country is honored and appreciated.
