I've thought all along that we're going to get Kemp. Kemp has a Memphis lean, and wants to stay close to home, but I think Tubby can outrecruit Calipari on this one.
Kemp
Jasper
Thompson
and then hopefully
Wright
A recruiting class that would rival 2004.

jasper will go to washington. though he could still come here.

Then:
Porter
Kemp
Thompson
Wright
That's top 5.

Lawerence Westbrook (PG/SG) has committed to Memphis so this should factor somewhat in Kemp's recruitment. I'd say Memphis is at the bottom at this point since Westbrook is a good PG (he's only 6') with a 4 star rating plus he just committed today.

Good news. You've gotta think that's why Tubby was in Bolivar this week.

Completely uninformed guess. Check their commit list and current players and then comment.

Fat Chinese Man is one of the most pessimistic and caustic posters I have ever met... and to top it off his political views are terrible also.

:D I love you too Greg. LMAO
Greg, like you, i guess on this, sometimes i am right, sometimes i am wrong... If your guru status was a batting average it wouldn't be that well. But unlike you, i don't have disdain for you, you like alot of science fiction and fantasy films, so we have that in common.

Ah Fat Chinese man. you are wrong on the average. But that is water past the Yellow River.
Confucious was loud mouth and Buddah ate too much Kung Po Chicken...

Greg, i don't go on every uk recruiting board to exhault my recruting knowledge. It isn't just i that think you overly too arrogant either, but thats alright... You have been wrong on alot espically in the last two years, hell you said that Randolph Morris would withdraw his name from the draft, when he left it in.. you said this source is never wrong, you were wrong on the barbour kid from alabama, you were wrong on stanley robinson, and so on and so on.. but this is about basketball recruiting, so i will call a truce.

LOL
It will rain today, although it may remain sunny. UK will beat IU this weekend, unless IU wins the game. Vonnegut is the best writer of all time, unless you consider other authors...

I didnt say that for sure. People asked for my opinons... and I gave them on recruits. I stopped "predicting" because it is WAY to inexact for my training as an engineer.
AS far as Morris. One time for the contact to be wrong? He hee.
OKIE. I will remind you when they are right.
Oh by the way. Porter was a right pick.
Crawford was a right one after he decommitted. I was right on Morris long before anyone else.
---
But OK... truce.
I just give opinions based on the knowledge I have now. I dont predict.
AS in the case of Brandan. All information I have gathered on PERSONAL interviews and interviews by my other contacts... say he is a huge UK lean.

Ease up on Buddah guys. Sheesh... he is only participating in the "dog eating it's own tail" ritual of arguing about recruiting... No one really knows diddly squat.

Not totally true... but I will let it go.
Some of us do have contacts and I do see them many times during the year... shoe camps, AAU, Tourneys, Festivals. Specific games (I saw Lawrence North - Greg Oden) 5 times in person last season. I saw Oak Hill in person 6 times.
So not totally true VII
So I do know their talents. Where they go to school happens where we cant be involved personal interviews by coaches and all we can do is interview the PLAYER and not the COACH after the interview so we are at the mercy of the player giving us the benefit of what he tells us. They have not been trustworthy all the time either.
"predicting" where they go is a real gamble. Seeing them and seeing their talents is a completely different subject.

Personally, I don't know anything about recruits... I have better things to do than follow high school basketball careers, but if you get paid to do it AWESOME. I am just saying you should take it easy on some of us that aren't as much in-the-know as you and some others. I appreciate the knowledge that you pass on to us, but predicting and pissing matches get old.
Sincerely, thanks for the insight onthe recruits.

I dont get "paid" to go but I do get something out of it. almost a "per diem" thing on expenses...for mags and newspapers... so it is not my vocation (as I note earlier)... but it is the avocation.

An update on Kemp and Westbrook recruitment from Memphis: Westbrook has decommitted because of Calipari's continued recruitment of Kemp.
