A friend of mine's son will be participating in this challenge on June 21st. Matt Axline left tackle (6' 5.5" 275 ) a junior to be at Shelby County. Lettered his freshman year and started all year as a sophmore and protected Alex Matthews blind side as he had a heck of a senior season. I'm pretty sure he has recieved a questionaire from UK and I'm hoping the coaches and powers that be take a good look at him next weekend as well as throughout the the next 2 seasons at Shelby Co. He is a great kid and a great talent. Definitley think he can play big time SEC football. He has also recieved questionaires from Big 12, Big 10 teams and other perennial SEC powers. Hope this kid continues to improve and soon I can watch him play at Commonwealth. So recruiting analysts I ask if you could update me on him after next weekend games and challenges at UK.

Cool. Always neat to watch a talent develop from an early age into something big. Here's hoping things work out well for him.

I like to hear this sir. Keep us informed as best you can.
Thanks for the heads up.
We'll be watching for the Matt-truck to come south on I64. In 2009, everyone will be looking for athletic linemen with lower fat and fast feet. Heggins is as good as they come for OL coaches.
Kentucky kids will stay for the fifth or sixth year and the fourth quarter.

I wasnt there to watch this weekend but it sounds like Matt and fellow SC linemen finished 6th in the challenge. If anybody gets to catch any SC games Matt is #72. He has a little brother Ben who plays also he is a Wide Reciever and wears #23. He has improved alot since they have started playing these passing tournaments. Good luck Shelby County and good luck to the Axlines.
