I finally arrived back in Lexington at 4 in the morning today and I haven't gotten much sleep as I've been at school and work all day but I have had time to reflect on my trip. First of all, I'd like to say that Philadelphians and Pennsylvanians are very nice people. This caught me off guard because this is the same city that boos Kobe (a Philadelphia product), their own teams, their own players, and even Santa Claus. It was nothing short of a dream to see UK play in Philly... I value every game I have gotten to see and look forward to following UK the rest of my life. One thing I don't like is the NCAA. I don't like to be negative or complain but it just seems like everything they do is out of greed and makes no sense. For instance, I bought a ticket for the second round. I did not attend the second game of Villanova vs Arizona so I went to sell my ticket to a scalper. Come to find out, the NCAA has a no readmittance policy so the ticket was no good. Now what is the purpose of this rule. Are they afraid that someone corrupt will get the ticket? If so, they could just buy any ticket. Whats the deal. If the NCAA is afraid of 2 people going in and 1 coming back out with 2 stubs then they should just sell 2 tickets but they don't....and as a result my seats sat empty, 2 fans couldn't get inside, and I lost money....go figure.....but i was able to go to philly on the little amount of student funds i saved up and im not going to let the ncaa ruin my dream trip to philly. I will be back next year if i can and the year after that...I just wish the NCAA would change its HORRIBLE officiating, pathetic arena rules, and steep prices. A STUDENT ticket is $60 face value for one session but that is an improvement over the ZEROtickets I got for the SEC tournament.I'd like to see students get a break here and there mainly because I've worked so hard to get to UK and now I want to enjoy it to the fullest which I did in Philly and which I do every time I'm with the WCN!!

Two tickets would require them to clear the arena, making it virtually impossible to get the next game started in the 20-30 minute time frame currently used.

Glad that you had a nice time.

All tourney tickets are like that. The SEC is the same way. Each session for Thursday thru Saturday involves 4 teams/two games. That's what makes a ticket tough to get at a smaller arena like Nashville's when 4 really good teams have fans that all want to get in. The anticipated games involving Kentucky and Tennessee in the same session this year never materialized (nuthin' sucks like a big orange), but if it had, it would have made the tickets hard to get for the fans and would have created a heaven on earth for the scalpers!

It's not right for the fans, but that's the way it is.

I'm happy you had a good time, Jordan.... but boy do we have differing opinions about Philly and Philadelphians....

My niece is in biomedical research grad school at Penn. In visiting her, I've never met a more obnoxious rude city full of people in my life. My mother hails from that area, and even she call's Philadelphia the world capital of rudeness.

But .... Glad you had a good time!

Glad to hear you enjoyed your trip, and I appreciate the support for our CATS, and WCN. I see I'm going to have to sit with you for at least one game, so I can defend the officials. I look forward to seeing you at the tailgates.

Jordan, I'm so glad that you got to make the trip, but so sorry that you didn't get the ending you and the rest of us wanted. For everyone who doesn't know Jordan, he's one of the most faithful UK fans! :)
