Mister Cobble's teammate Ridge Wilson, DE/OLB is very, very good. Cardinal Stadium is in his back yard. He will be interesting to follow. If you have access to Rivals recruiting vids, check him out. Cobble's teammate, junior Tim Patterson, another OLB is suposedly the best of the three.
Welcome Mister Cobble, hire apparent to Myron Pryor. I'll have to check out some Yellowjackets games this fall. Central is gong to have one heck of a defense.

I'm glad this one finally became confirmed. It had been floating around as an unconfirmed rumor on Scout for the past few days. Love to see UK sign DTs, particularly because they've signed so few of them the past couple years that they're having to move OL to DT. The great programs move DL to OL, not the other way around, and it definitely was not encouraging to see UK moving OL to DL because of a lack of DT signees. BTW, there are a couple of other very interesting unconfirmed rumors floating around on Scout that will produce spasms of joy if they turn out to be true.

The University of Kentucky has picked up another in-state commitment, from Louisville Central defensive lineman Mister Cobble.
The 6-foot, 270-pound Cobble committed to UK on Monday night. Cobble, whose full name is Mister Percy Cobble, picked UK over Louisville and Tennessee.
He attended camp at UK last week.
I've been knowing that I've wanted to go to Kentucky for a while now, Cobble said. I just wanted to wait until the right time, and after going to camp last week, everything felt good.
Central Coach Ty Scroggins said the ceiling is extremely high on Cobble's potential.
At the high school level you've got to double-team him or you'll lose that individual battle, Scroggins said. He's got to get a little stronger, but once he gets a redshirt year and gets in the weight room, he's going to be a force to be reckoned with. His motor goes 100 miles an hour all the time.
