When Jordan Aumiller verbally committed to play football for the University of Kentucky last weekend, Boyle County coach Larry French immediately had one worry.
French knew the early decision took some pressure off Aumiller because he won't have to worry about impressing college recruiters this season. However, French also understands opponents will be anxious to test Aumiller.
"Players are going to get psyched up to play against him. He's going to have to bring his 'A' game every time," French said. "He'll have to take his play to another level, but he'll be fine. He's already shown me he can raise his level of play pretty high and I just think this is really a good thing for him and UK."
Based on what Aumiller did Saturday at Kentucky's seven-on-seven passing tournament, French doesn't have to worry about how his senior tight end-safety will play this year.
