yeah, the dunk looked awesome. And I think that I seen somewhere else on this forum that he put up pretty good numbers during the camp. However if you read the article on the front page of the college basketball section of ESPN, he is not even mentioned as a top 30 performer at the camp. if he averaged 13-15 points like they say he did, then I'm not sure how does not at least get included on that list. Kinda weird if you ask me. Either way, he is going to be huge for us. :icon_biggrin:

It's a cool picture. Maybe I expect too much, but anybody that is 6'6" should be able to dunk. It is my pet peeve to see guys that are 6'8" and taller who do lay ups instead of throwing it down with authority.

This not an ordinary leap. Jon can flat get off the floor. Probably somewhere in the 40" range.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he's the state high jump champion. He jumped his height.

I just looked it up to be sure. He ended up getting second, lost in a jump-off to Billy Thompson. But still, 6'6" high jump is no easy feat. Excellent hops and body control. I did it some in high school although I was terrible, lol, and body control can definitely get you some extra lift.
Thanks a lot for telling us that, as I was completely unaware.

If you can't excited about this kid, you're not a Kentuckian or Kentucky fan. I remember when Jack Givens came to UK and then Rex- something special about a top-talent from the Bluegrass putting on that uniform!!!
