The Kansas State men's basketball team has filled its final scholarship for the upcoming season as Curtis Kelly has transferred to K-State from Connecticut.
The 6-9 power forward spent two years at UConn and averaged 2.1 points and 1.8 rebounds in 23 games as a sophomore. As a freshman, he averaged 2.7 points and 2.5 rebounds in 27 games.
Kelly is from Rice High School in Queens, New York, and he picked Kansas State over UNLV, Miami, Massachusetts and Kentucky.
