Orton plans to take the allotted five recruiting visits. Whether intentionally or inadvertently, he seemed to suggest that ultimately he would be UK-bound.

After noting that his brother told him to expect a “love-hate relationship” with Cyprien (tough love from the coach, which the player belatedly appreciates), Orton mentioned how demanding Kentucky fans can be.

“People say the fans are crazy on me now,” he said of the attention that comes with the recruiting process. “As soon as I get there and play bad, they'll be harsh on me. I figure I need that.”

Sounds good to me. Young man is seeking accountability.
Prayers for his mother.

If we have the inside track, I don't think anyone jinxed us.

It was a tongue-in-cheek jab at J Tipton and his propensity to spread the negative about UK, which he also does in this article. It doesn't matter though, as it really sounds like we might get Orton.

Have u read demlings blog. Orton ask John wall if he told demling that they were going to UK and then ask wall if he just wanted to have a presser know. They were smiling and laughing the whole time.

Tipton is an A$$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't want a homer at the Herald leader. I want someone to be honest.

With that being said, why was it necesscary (sp?) to take a shot at BCG for missing on a recruit?

"Orton acknowledged not even considering Kentucky until becoming aware that Glynn Cyprien was an assistant coach. Cyprien coached Orton's older brother, Terrence Crawford, at Oklahoma State. Here is hoping his press credentials get yanked because he is not reporting with that comment, he is attacking.

You can never be too careful when it comes to Tipton. :icon_mrgreen:

Found myself getting physically angry while reading his notebook this past weekend.

I'm just thankful that Orton's mom's surgery went well. Also, may her health improve.
