This thread is for all of you that are playing NCAA 09. For the Xbox 360 crowd, I will be running an online dynasty if anyone wishes to join. What I will need from everyone is their gamertag and what conference they wish to use. Majority rules on conference selection, host has first pick for what team to use, then alphabetical order by gamertag gets to choose. So just post the info up and I will update this post with the information.

NOTE: REGISTRATION FOR XBOX360 ONLINE DYNASTY ENDS TUESDAY JULY 29th. On Wednesday July 30th I will begin setting up the dynasty and inviting people. You will need to have signed on to XBox Live with NCAA 09 before then to link your gamertag to your EA Account (If you don't have one you can make one when you sign on), otherwise I can not invite you.

Also, for you PS3 guys, if you want to post your IDs in his thread, I will also compile a list. You guys can decide on who you want to run your dynasty and what conference you want.

If anyone has the game, feel free to talk about it in here too. I myself have already started an offline dynasty. I've played just 4 games in it because I have been messing around with Campus Legend since I got an advanced copy last week. I took down U of Smell 31-14 after I returned a pick 101 yards with no time on the clock at the end of the 4th. I won the next 3 pretty easily, putting away Norfolk St. (FCS Northeast in game) 41-10, MTSU 36-17 and WKU 38-18 (6 FGs for WKU).

I'm going to buy a system JUST for this game. Can't decide what system to buy though. I don't need all the media, file storage or even online gaming. Just using it to play the 3-4 games I buy a year.

I saw that PS3 is dropping price in Sept but dear god I dont need an 80GB unit, just enough to have a few game saves.

What say you gaming guys?

If you don't care about having the system double as a blu-ray player, you should definitely buy the X-Box 360. It has more games and is cheaper. If you don't care about the size of the hard drive, Microsoft just dropped the price on the 20 GB units. Word is, they're being phased out and won't be around for much longer.

As for the online dynasty... I'd be all for that.

BUT, I'm leaving Friday for vacation and I don't think I'm going to be buying the game until I get back. (Actually, I'll probably buy the game while I'm on vacation, but I won't be online while I'm away.)

But if you start another one at some point, or decide to wait a bit before starting it up... my Live ID is OJS.

The PS3 80GB is backwards compatible with most PS2 games. The 40 GB is not. All PS3 machines can be used as a media server to stream movies, music, and photos from your computer provided your hooked up on a home network. If you're not hooked up to a LAN, you can still store ripped movies, music and photos on your PS3. If you begin to run out of hard drive space on the PS3, back up your data and swap in a new larger size drive from any manufacturer. Also, Sony announced they will be making a movie download service available later this summer (LINK (http://www.afterdawn.com/news/archive/14615.cfm)). I'm sure Micro$oft will soon be doing something to keep pace.

Of course, there is that Blu-Ray thingy working in Sony's favor.

Microsoft has had this as part of their online service since before the PS3 was even released. That's just part of the reason why (when it comes to online services) X-Box Live is light years ahead of Sony.

One thing that is new for Microsoft is their partnership with Netflix, which has me really excited, since I am already a Netflix subscriber.

I can't vouch for the X-Box 360 or it's superiority to the PS3. I'm just reporting what I know about the PS3 from first hand information. For a strictly gaming machine, I believe the Xbox might be a good choice. It has more gaming titles available (due in large part to it's earlier release). The PS3 is extremely versatile - gaming, stand alone media storage and playback, and Blu-Ray player. It really depends on what you want the console to do.

Multimedia Comparison: (http://www.hardcoreware.net/playstation-3-vs-xbox-360-one-year-later/)

"For movies, the PS3 wins hands down. Not only does it have integrated Blu-Ray capability, it is a far superior movie player to begin with. We also must consider that the PS3 can be had for as little as $399, while an XBOX 360 with HD-DVD player will cost at least $530 (Arcade Edition notwithstanding, since nobody in their right mind is going to buy an XBOX 360 without a hard drive).
Regardless of comparing playback image quality, sound quality, and interface, there is one thing that gives the XBOX 360 an automatic “zero” in every category - it is excruciatingly LOUD. There is ONE thing that I HATE when I try to watch a movie, and that’s background noise. I alway go out of the way to make sure my living room is utterly quiet when I sit down to watch a movie, and the sickening screech of the 360’s DVD drive and fans makes this completely impossible.
PS3, on the other hand, is completely quiet during movie playback. Whether you are watching a Blu-Ray, DVD, or other video format, the PS3 isn’t going to make a peep.
I also much prefer the PS3’s interface to the bright, flashy, sluggish interface of the XBOX 360. Turning on the PS3 to watch a high-definition movie feels like a classy, almost ‘high end’ experience. In contrast, fire up the XBOX 360 and you are treated to a whining fan, screeching DVD drive, and bright flashy colours on your screen. The console itself looks more like a ‘toy’ and the external USB drive required for HD-DVD only extends the ‘low end’ feel.
Then you have the other media formats. XBOX 360 was only ever meant to be an ‘Multimedia Extender’. In other words, it was expected that by this time, most people would have a PC dedicated to hosting multimedia using either Windows Media Center or Vista Home. The 360 would pull the files off this dedicated media PC over the network. Therefore, the 360’s multimedia capabilities are actually quite poor. It supports MPEG-2, MPEG-4, and MPEG-4 AVC (h.264), but only in the WMV, MOV, and TS container formats. It supports DLNA, so is able to discover files on DLNA software like Windows Vista.
Playstation 3 was intended to be an all-in-one media center, and the design shows. At first, it did not support DLNA, but we broke the story when DLNA-supporting firmware was released, allowing multimedia to be streamed from Vista to the Playstation 3 (http://www.hardcoreware.net/ps3-18-firmware-streams-music-photos-and-video-from-vista/). All the major codecs are supported by Playstation 3; MPEG-1, MPEG-2, Motion JPEG (commonly found with digital cameras) through AVI, MOV, MP4, and TS container formats. It will even play AVCHD files directly (M2TS files - the same format Blu-Ray uses).
MP4 support is seen as the future of video, and the PS3 has very good support of this. It supports MPEG-4 AAC audio, MPEG-4 Simple Profile video, as well as Main and High profile (also known as h.264). In a big story last week, it was announced that the PS3 would soon be supporting the DivX codec, through the AVI file container (http://www.hardcoreware.net/playstation-3-to-support-divx/). This will be the first time a non-modified console supports this highly popular format. Here’s hoping for MKV (http://www.matroska.org/) h.264 support! ;)
Audio playback is close, with the PS3 having the minor advantage of supporting SACD, although this is no longer supported with the 40GB version. It’s been sad to see Sony drop many of the advantages they held over the 360 in the past year. Playstation 3 will always be better as a standalone music player since it doesn’t sound like a jet engine, but the 360 has the great advantage of being able to access music from within any game.
I have viewed photos on both consoles, and find the PS3 to be a more pleasant experience. Again, the XMB is so much better than XBOX 360’s tabbed Dashboard, and it’s nice to view pictures without noisy fans blasting away in the background. The PS3 supports some printers (http://www.hardcoreware.net/playstation-3-vs-xbox-360-one-year-later/#) directly, which may or may not be useful (I can’t imagine using it as a photo printer, but someone might. probably someone in Japan)."

Like I said, the PS3 is superior if you want a blue-ray player that also plays games. As a gaming console, the 360 really stands out, though. It has a larger roster of games for a couple of reasons. A large part is because it did come out first. But it is also much easier to code games for - third party developers find it much easier to make a game for the 360 than the PS3. Multi-platform games also generally perform better on the X-Box for the same reason.

Ok, points made guys. Although, the 80GB PS3 will NOT have backwards compatability. It has been done away with in newer models. Justacatsfan, I would probably say that the 360 is a good fit based on the few things you've mentioned. You can get a 20GB unit for $299. Truth be told, I really don't play online that much, but it is worth having the membership to play amongst friends or people from a message board you know.:icon_mrgreen:

As for NCAA 09, I'll be moving the online dynasty start date up by 1 week for XBox users. I have also recorded your ID BGUKG.

The 80GB PS3 does have backwards compatibility - the 40GB does not. The 40GB PS3 is the one being phased out. The 80GB will now be the low end model.

The WII continues to lead in units sold - everybody else is playing for second. Sony and Microsoft are beating each other up pretty badly over pricing right now.

You have to pay $50 per year for an XBox Live Gold membership. The Silver membership is free.

Also, while the Wii does lead in total consoles sold, the 360 has a very strong lead on the PS3 for second. I'll be shocked if the PS3 catches the 360. But really, comparing the Wii to the 360 and PS3 is sort of apples and oranges.

One other thing, the 360 has sold more software units than Wii and PS3 combined.

The new 80GB PS3 will not have backwards capability. Thats the ones coming out in Sept wit the $399 tag. Trust me I've been researching the hell outta this for a few days. The ones on shelves now have 70-75% BC with titles.

I'm really torn on this. I had an original Xbox for like a month and hated it. Hated the controller setup, etc. Sold it and got a PS2, which is the one I have now. I'm actually probally going to get a PS3. I just have always had a PS and never had trouble and loved the gameplay.

I guess my only dilema at this point is whether I want to wait until Sept for the new units at the $399 tag or just get a 40GB unit now at that price. Don't think I would ever need near that amount of space. All my file storage is either on my CPU or Ipod, which is 80GB. Which I have a dock and video cable connected to my stereo to watch movies on my TV from my Ipod so I dont see me ever needing the extra space.

Hell I may just get the 80GB one now for $499. Wouldnt have to buy the durashock contoller seperate.

Decisions decisions.

Sony announced at E3 that the $399 80GB will not be backwards compatable, just like the 40GB is now. It was in their keynote and slide presentation. All they are doing is taking the 40GB models and giving them more storage space.

As entertaining as this thread has become, if you guys want to talk console wars, make a thread please. Thanks.

Why would they do that? Not saying you're wrong, just can't figure out the reasoning. Maybe they're trying to phase the PS2 out?

No idea Grub. Frankly the choice has alot of people scratching their heads. Although, Howard Stringer, the head man at Sony had this to say about the Wii at E3 (courtesy Engadget).

Sony head Howard Stringer (http://www.engadget.com/tag/howardstringer) referred to Nintendo's market-dominating Wii as an "expensive niche game device." Previous to making that statement, Stringer bafflingly said, "I've played a Nintendo Wii, I don't see it as a competitor." Now look -- we're not saying you're in some kind of CEO super-denial, but all signs point to the possibility that you should probably consider the Wii a competitor (since it is... well... a competing system and platform), and perhaps recognize that "niche" is typically not synonymous with "best selling."

Anywho, I am really enjoying NCAA 09 so far. I sat down and finished my first season with UK. I had a TON of last second or come from behind wins. Pulley went down with a torn ACL during the Florida game, so Hartline finished the season. I managed to go 10-2 (6-2) with losses to Florida and Georgia (pretty bad I might add). I eeked by Bama 28-26, SC 34-30 and up ended UT 37-35 after coming back from a 21-0 score at the half. I was shocked to see that I was given an at-large in a BCS game against Clemson. I ended up winning that game 31-24 after being down 14-0. I made a late field goal to give myself a 7 point lead. So, 11-2 to end the season. I was also surprised to see alot of top recruits sign with me during the offseason. I signed a total of 20, seven 4 stars, ten 3 stars and three 2 stars. I just started a new season and trounced Duke 42-7 in my opener. I will have to say that playing at home with custom stadium sounds makes the game that much better. I am using a limited selection of sounds until the real football season starts, then I can record a whole games worth. If anyone wants to help contribute that would be awesome.

misterbluecat
07-17-2008, 09:35 PM
Yeah, you have the SS #5 and then Hartline who also wears #5. I was confused the first time I saw that on the roster.

I've been playing my dynasty some more. I readjusted my sliders to favor the CPU a bit more while turning the difficulty up to Heisman. I played 5 games today and simmed 3 non-conference games against FAU, Idaho and WKU. I won them all, including a 49-14 drubbing of Florida thanks to some great defense and the hit stick :icon_mrgreen:. Put the wood to Tebow twice when he ran that option keeper and he coughed up the ball. Also got a pick after a safety blitz forced a bad throw. I played the next game against Georgia (I honestly have no idea how the game schedules conference games) and went into 3 OTs, scraping by with a 41-34 win. Hard game between the hedges. I also had a close game with Miss State, a 27-24 win on a last second field goal and a shootout with UT which I managed to win 35-31. So, I am done with my season, sitting at 12-0 looking ahead to a conference championship game with Auburn who is also 12-0. I signed my first 5 star player, a QB from Villa Hills, KY. I also snatched up four 4 star players (2 MLBs, 1 HB and 1 DT). No other signees yet, but I have quite a few 3 star players targeted that will hopefully bring in alot of speed.

Got a PS3 last night and love it. Glad I did. played a couple games and boy do I suck at defense right now. And its harder to throw a deep fly route. Still playing with the controller setup to get the buttons I want in place.

I also have a wireless router so the wi-fi installed quickly and I think I may enjoy the online play.

Defense has not been my strong point with UK yet. Still kind of slow speed wise. That and EA hard coded a button under the pursuit category that is leaving me to relearn the controls after 5 years of them being the same. I finished my 2nd season. I beat Auburn in the SEC title game 14-6, then managed to get into the NC game, even though the week before I was in 5th on the BCS standings. It was the biggest defensive battle ever. I had had 5 picks and recovered two fumbles while Ohio State recovered 4 fumbles and got 2 picks. We both had about 350yds of total offense, but the final score was 3-0. Yes, you read that right, 3-0. I managed to get close enough at the end of the 3rd to kick a FG. OSU had 4 FG attempts, I blocked 2, I iced the kicker on 1 and they flat out missed the other. Best game I have ever played since the 06 version. I got a 4 year extension with UK for bringing home the hardware. Let me tell you though, recruiting is tougher in the offseason than it was last year. Yeah, I got that one 5 star and four 4 stars, but the rest of my take was not good considering how many high profile players had me on their final list of 3. I managed just one more 4 star, five 3 stars, eight 2 stars and one 1 star. Considering the bulk of my list was 3s and 4s, I was alittle disappointed. The lack of a decent class (this one ranked 42nd  ) has already shown it's ugly head in the season 3 opener. I barely made it by UL, 14-13. I certainly will not be repeating as NC because probably won't stand a chance against an elite school with this roster.

Yea, the R2 trigger for sprint is awful for me. I changed the offense back to X but defense the closest I've found works is the triangle. There is a guy on a sports gaming board that is going to be finished tonight with all the rosters. I'm waiting until he posts that until I start a dynasty. Plus I need to practice more.

Once I get the file for those rosters I'll throw the link on here. Seems dloading them to your CPU then using a flash drive is the way to go until a patch is released. The ones dloaded from EALocker may freeze. Also got some good files for stadium sounds I'll throw up too.

I spent the better part of last week with my advanced copy setting the rosters and playing campus legend to break the boredom. Yeah, I was used to the player switch being A for every situation except pre-snap defense. Now you have strip hard locked to A in pursuit. A was always easier for me to player switch because I could spear/hit stick/dive better in pursuit mode. Now I have to shift my hand position just to reach the hit stick, which leads to hand cramps by the 4th quarter. I was pissed when they began to hard code buttons in the 07 version but this takes the cake.

I played an online game last night, before GTA killed my PS3 and loved it. Except the guy I played had Florida and did the same Tebow rollout and can run or pass every play.

Best Buy is actually going to exchange my unit since I only had it for a couple days. When I get everything set up again I have a file a guy created with the rosters from everyteam. He did leave off 4 teams because I guess there is a glitch and you can only name a certain amount of teams until a patch is sent. So I have the file on my flash drive and after I figure out how to upload it on my PS3 I can email to anyone who wants it. They say using EaLocker is causing the glitch until the patch as well.

Here is the zip file for all the rosters. He had to leave out WKU, Ark St, Idaho and Utah St. So those will still have the numbers. You can name one of those teams if you wish.

But have to leave 3 with just the #'s. Some glitch happens that FIU drops to all zero's

The only thing I need to know from the 360 guys is, what teams do you want? You can pick any team, any conference, I just need to know before I can send out the invite. I would like to keep it to teams under 3 stars of prestige, that way there is some challenge involved recruiting and building your program. I need to know your picks by Saturday at the latest. Just started a dynasty with UK...

First game was close, but my running game was on. Pulley had 136 and Locke had 150 yds. My receivers had trouble catching the ball. This game is a lot harder than previous years, especially on Heisman mode.

misterbluecat
07-24-2008, 01:33 AM
My only complaints with the game thus far are few. Just like the past few years, you still have the superman DBs and LBs who swat and swipe passes without facing the ball, much less turning their head to see the ball, while making up several yards of distance between him and the receiver in a fraction of a second. Secondly, I am getting tired of being run down by a lineman or LB with 50-60 speed when I have Derrick Locke with 98 speed. On that same note, I am tired of having a lineman jump the snap, then come roaring through the line running a 2.5 40, cracking my *** in the pocket out of a shotgun before I can set my feet to get rid of the ball. CPU on Heisman cheats like a mofo.:icon_mrgreen:

Meanwhile, I've advanced through my 3rd season with my UK dynasty, taking home some hardware from the Peach Bowl. Yeah, I called it the Peach Bowl, even though it's now the Chick-fil-a Bowl. I grow weary of seeing all these bowls being cheapened by sponsors getting the bowl named after them. Anywho, I won that bowl and finished at 9-4 on the season. A bit of a reverse course, but understandable since I lost alot of good players from my previous squad. Hartline finished 2nd in the Heisman voting, losing by 200 points to some kid from Texas. In the offseason I managed to get another good batch of recruits, landing a top 20 class. In total I had three 5 stars, nine 4 stars and nine 3 stars. I spent more time recruiting than I did actually playing my 3rd season. Although it has started to pay off as the first 2 classes have upgraded my team speed and strength by about 40%. That and my team ratings have gone up to 86 OVR, 87 OFF, 92 DEF and 83 SPT (B+, B+, A-, B if you read the game previews).

I just finished my first season last night. I've beat louisville already in the second.

The first season was great. I had several POY. Pulley and Hartline split a lot of time rotating due to injuries.

My receiver that I had returning kicks, got Returner of the year. He had 4 kickoff returns for touchdowns.

The only game I lost was the first game to UL. I beat UF on a last second fumble return. I beat Auburn by a score of 38-6 in the SEC championship game. Ane Penn State by 12 in the Sugar Bowl.

I really like the recruiting. I spent a lot of time in the offseason with recruiting. Alot of changes since I last played in 05.

I have found it fairly easy to return kicks this year. Last years game you were lucky to return 2 in 1 season. So far I have returned 19 in 3 full seasons. A well timed spin/juke combo can leave anyone standing there looking like a fool.

So far it appears that getting to a BCS game with UK in your first season is a common thing. My first year was a Fiesta Bowl win against Clemson by 7. I seemed to have alot of close games too in my first season. I needed last second heroics to win a few of them. You know, I played my 1st year SEC Champ game against freakin Ole Miss?? They were 10-2 (7-1), ranked 11th. I actually breezed through that game 44-17. It seems in more than a few iterations that has happened. I started my realistic dynasty a few days ago, which is where I take a 1 star team and stick with them until they become a 6 star. Then after I get the team to where they can survive without me, I will take another job at a 1 star program and start all over. Gives me a challenge. Anywho, in that dynasty (I picked Eastern Michigan btw), Ole Miss beat Ohio State in the NC during my first season, 38-14. The next season, they repeated against Texas. So we'll see if they can repeat again in my 3rd season.

Last years game was quite unrealistic. I had the default settings on and went undefeated the first season, winning the Sugar Bowl (Ohio State and USC were undedeated as well) Trevard Lindley, EJ Adams, and Paul Warford were All-Americans, and Rafael Little led the country in yards and TDs. And I was plyaing 8 minute quarters.

and the second season had Lindley and Adams trading the school record for INTs each game.

I would have to agree. Last year was a bit too easy, even on Heisman with the CPU favored on game sliders. At one point deep into my UK dynasty (20yrs), I had actually won the NC 8 times in a row. Most of the games were never close. This year though, I have had 20 or so games that were decided by less than 7 points. Hell, there were even a few where I got ripped a new one. Like my 3rd season, I played Florida in the swamp and got handled 63-28. Home field advantage actually means something this year.

Things that make ya go hmmmmm.

Does the CPU ever give up a fumble?

Can you block a punt or FG?

Every time I start to put a team away, I give up a fumble.

If I make a great stop on 3rd down, I give up a personal foul face mask.

If a play is reviewed, it's going to be reversed. They, or you, can be 5 yards out of bounds, and it will go the wrong way.

I am 11-0 in my third year. I've got Notre Dame left. Ranked #1.

Won the heisman last season with Locke, this year am leading the heisman with a freshman RB.

I'm in my first year. Facing Ohio State in the BCS title game.

Yes, I've made the CPU fumble quite a bit. You need to use the hit stick more often. Yes, you can block punts and FGs. I've blocked about 15 or so. I really don't have problems with penalties.

I'm in my 8th season now. I won that NC in my 2nd year but went 4 years before I managed to get back. I've now gone back to back and I am seeking a 3rd. I have video of my game against UT that I will make available for download in awhile if anyone wants to watch it. I had to use my HD Cam to record since I am unable to capture video directly off the 360 at this time.

Dear god do you play 8 games a day?

How do you block kicks? I've tried with about every guy.

I don't waste time playing games I know I'll win by 60 points. The only teams that are still relevant in my dynasty are LSU, Auburn, Florida and Tennessee. The rest of the SEC has fallen off the face of the earth, with team ratings no better than a C. So when it comes time to play the other teams, I usually sim it. Otherwise I would end up doing what I did to Georgia the other day; winning 91-6. The SEC has gone from being the number 1 conference to 5th by my estimation. The ACC, Pac-10, MAC and Big Ten are all ahead of the SEC. Yes, I said the MAC. Ohio has become a top 10 team with an overall A rating and has 1 NC. Akron, Miami (OH), Kent State, Toldeo and Western Michigan are ALL in the top 25. Last season they sent 5 teams to a bowl game, 2 of which managed to get the At-Large bids to BCS games. They had a total of 8 teams bowl eligible. The SEC had 5 bowl teams too, but I was the only one to goto a BCS game. Everyone else had 8 wins or less. It is a sad day when 3 teams in the SEC finish 0-12 on the season.

Blocking kicks is all about making a hole or tying up two blockers. I'm not the one that is actually blocking them, my team mates are. I've personally blocked 1 of each, that's all. I try to take out one blocker then tie another up. The hit stick can accomplish this for you if you time it right. I like to work from the wing, plow my blocker, then tie up the inside man while my team mate goes flying in to block the kick. A man gets past their line about 80% of the time, but they usually miss the kick by a foot or so. You have to be perfect in your execution to block a kick. Jumping the snap helps too. Practice that and do it often. It's the only way you have a shot to make sure you or your team blocks a kick.

If anyone wants to watch my game against UT, you can download it HERE (http://www.aclsal.org/videos/UKUT.avi) .

WARNING : It's VERY large, 622mb. GOOD NEW THOUGH, the server it is on will support downloads up to 1MB/s. At that speed it will take 9min to download. You will need to right click the link and Save As.

That's the best I could do to compress it down from the 8GB HD 1920x1080 original. I just sat the cam down on the table between the loungers in the basement. This is the entire game with breaks in between kick offs. I played just 4min quarters for this one, down from my usual 6. Didn't make much of a difference. It was still a pretty close, high octane game, up until I cashed in on a turnover.

I dont know who number 5 is on UK but hes a SS and probably the fastest guy on our team according to the game. I put him and Alfonso Smith returning kicks and Tony Dixon on punts :):):)

I am pretty sure #5 is Winston Guy if that hasn't already been said. I didn't want to wade through the rest of the posts to reply. LOL

You are right though that guy is lightning but that is what happens when you are a track star in high school.

Does anybody have this on Wii?

I really love the way the Wii games play, at least games like Madden 08. But I have one big concern before I buy it. The 2009 version of Madden and NCAA tout being "Easy Play" or "All Play," something like that. Do you have to play on the easy mode, or can I actually play it in the same manner that I would, say, on 360?

If I can't, I'll be buying a 360.

For anybody with the answers, just send me a message.

Thanks alot.

I have no idea. I have a Wii, but I don't have this game for it. I play most of my games on the 360. You know, if you got it on the 360, you could play online with us. There are 4 or 5 playing our online dynasty.

Yes yes, I know I could play with everyone on here if I got a 360. But, a professional college student doesn't do his job for the money (it's actually just for the girls.)

Would it be possible or wise to get one on e-bay or a used one?

misterbluecat
09-01-2008, 10:11 PM
Sure, you could get one off e-bay and Gamestop sells used/refurbed consoles for about $200. If it were my money, I would get a new one since they manage heat alot better. My old 360 got hot as hell. It could heat my room up by 5 degrees in 1 hour of play. My new one can't even warm the room by 1 degree over 2 or 3 hours of play. Saves the internals from burning out, which happened to my old one twice.

Lets just say I buy one, what should I buy? Aren't there multiple types of 360's on the market?

If you need to storage, get the Pro. If you don't and can deal with a 256mb memory card, get the Arcade.

18. Micah Johnson was also listed wrong in the game. He's 4. Oh, and Locke is still listed at 41, yet he is wearing 20.

If you get a roster update that someone made the #'s are correct. I have a PS3 so cant help up but I have a file that has all the players named and correct #'s for every team

If you go to operationsports.com, someone in the NCAA roster forum will have a link to get the rosters.

Cobb is listed at CB in the game, although I am unsure of the number they gave him. You could compare to the real roster then find the odd one out.
