Ferguson now a target

The 6-foot-9 Ferguson, considered one of the top 10 players in the Class of 2010, said he's received more attention from fans and media off the court and a ton more from opposing players on the court since he cast his lot with the Wildcats.

"I have a big target on my back," Ferguson said. "A lot more people want to get to me now. But really it's helping me because it lets me know I have to keep working hard. I don't want to go out there and get embarrassed by anyone."

That is a good story. I really like the quote about Ferguson's AAU teammates:

"Ferguson is on the same AAU team as junior UK guard target Terone Johnson and is close friends with sophomore Jeremiah Davis from Muncie (Ind.)."

"Every time I see them, we talk about Kentucky," Ferguson said. "I am always telling Jeremiah what Kentucky can do for him."

What do we know about Jeremiah Davis and Terone Johnson?

^ I know nothing at all about Johnson, but I've heard Davis is a beast and Maggard stated recently that he may be close to committing. (This was late last week, I think.) Saw someone on another board who's seen Davis play; guy said he could take the game over at will. Explosive talent.
