He's ranked 16th by Scout and 60th by Rivals. I've read where some people think he could be a top 5 player if the consistent effort was just there.

Coach doesn't stop. If he doesn't succeed here, it won't be due to a lack of effort.

I don't have a clue as to where we stand with him, or anything like that. But, as you know, if we can get him on campus, anything is possible.

Racine Horlick senior Jamil Wilson recently narrowed his list of potential colleges to seven and says he plans to continue to wait until March 8, 2009 to announce which school he’ll attend.

An outstanding prospect with tremendous athleticism and length, Wilson said he has narrowed his list of potential schools to Duke, Kentucky, Marquette, Michigan State, Oregon, Purdue and Texas.

Earlier, the 6-foot-6, wing, ranked the #5 small forward in the nation by Scout.com, had indicated that he might speed up the decision making process but now it appears he is going to stick, at least partially, with his original timetable.

Racine, WI forward Jamil Wilson is getting closer to a decision with the early signing period wrapping up on November 19. The top 50 prospect has been down to Marquette, Oregon, Michigan State and Texas for a few weeks now and a decision could come within the next 24 hours.
