Oregon Player Dies in Swimming Accident

I just thought this was interesting since this is the same river in which coach Brooks had his accident.

It's a shame....such a young life.:icon_sad:

EUGENE, Ore. (July 15) -- A redshirt freshman on the University of Oregon football team has died after trying to swim the McKenzie River during an inner-tube trip down the river.

There's a fine balance between taking reasonable risks to better understand limits & going too far, at least for guys. A small number's judgment is off. Sorry to hear, but it happens & won't ever change.
