Cats' Pause recruiting news

I definitely recommend the reading of this week's Cats' Pause. I liked reading Jim Tirey's piece on Larvez Mars, a four-star linebacker the Cats were the first to offer. Mars plans on taking a visit to Lexington. Further, Jeff Drummond notes that highly touted wide receiver Jamal Patterson, who has received over thirty offers, returned to Georgia from UK's football camp and gave Kentucky "high marks." Patterson really praised DeMoreo Ford, calling him a "great guy," and was also impressed with the academic performance of Kentucky athletes AND how the UK coaches cared about his "future, not just in football." Drummond also shares how Kentucky would like to see quarterback Morgan Newton, who has almost twenty offers, as "its leader in the future" AND that Newton says that "Kentucky is pretty high up there."

All three were particularly good reads. I'm :5x on these guys, along with St. Xavier running back "Deuce Finch" and others. :)

I read them too, 'doo. Found them after wading thru pages of BB recruits for 2-3 years from now. Good stuff.

:icon_mrgreen:. I LOVE it! Too, most seriously, I wish your knowledge of football and the UK program, in particular, WERE contagious. Since it's not, though, I surely appreciate all that you share. :big_grin: Every time I give you a compliment like that, though, I fear that head of yours getting TOO BIG for that Music City Bowl hat. ;)
