The Southeastern Conference Football Media Days start Wednesday, but this much is already official - the perception of Kentucky football has changed dramatically.
"I am really proud of how far Garry Williams has come as a leader," UK offensive coordinator Joker Phillips said. "He has been at left tackle for four years, and has been a force. It has been a position we have not had to pay a lot of attention to because of his experience.
"He has played great, too. There have never been any problems at that position with him there. Now we are starting to see his leadership. That's the thing I am the most proud of. There's no doubt he'll be the leader on that line."
