Here's a quote from Dicky Lyons concerning Coach Rich Brooks
"He does it (his job) with nothing but class. He's been a great leader and nobody could have done the job he's done. When things were down he didn't point any fingers and put it all on his shoulders. He stuck to the plan when a lot of people would have changed the plan, he stuck to it and he's been a great coach."

Absolutely. I said since the beginning of the Rich Brooks Era (back when my sanity was questioned by many) - Mitch Barnhart knew what he was doing when he hired the old war horse.

Same here. Too, through those first difficult years during probation, some of us kept trying to tell some naysayers exactly what Dicky says here. No, unfortunately, Dicky's words are NOT what I was reading from a lot of fans back in those days. Dicky's words are right on target, though, and THANKS for sharing them, RV. :) GO CATS! GO COACH BROOKS!
