Jeremy Jarmon glanced at the media's Southeastern Conference football projections, which were released yesterday at SEC Football Media Days, and gave a chuckle.
There, picked to finish fifth in the league's Eastern Division, were Jarmon's University of Kentucky Wildcats.
"If I was a betting guy, I'd say that next year's (poll) will have us in the same position, even if we win the national championship," the junior defensive end said. "It's just something you come to expect when you play football at the University of Kentucky."
The Wildcats have posted back-to-back eight-win seasons. They've won two straight Music City Bowls.
