It was on ESPNU. I don't have that channel, and was hoping to find a link to it, but didn't have time. Anyone know if he played well?

I watched a little. Orton's team got beat by 10 points, but there were extenuating circumstances. It was Orton's team's third game of the day and the other team's first game of the day. Orton looked good, but tired, and because of that a little slow. He was playing against the #4 center who is committed to Notre Dame (his name totally escapes me right now) and most of the commentator's comments were about him and guard named Garcia who apparently is about to rise in the top 100. Seems that Alabama, Providence and some others are starting to get on the Garcia bandwagon.

All of that said, it was clear that Orton is a beast and has a very mature body that makes it easy for him to bang under that basket. From what I saw, Orton is one of those players that plays very smooth, ala Mashburn, and you don't realize how good he is because it comes so easy and smooth to him. Heck, if he had an outside shot, he seemed comparable to Mashburn.

That's my amateur assessment of what I saw.

I'm watching Orton right now(Sunday at 7 45) And Orton right now is sturggling to put points on the board himself, but i believe he has abput 4 or 5 assists here in the first half. He's been a beast on the boards, and the farther the game goes along, the more he starts to score. He is an absolute and total beast, and Andy Katz cant stop talking about him. He mentioned that Daniel Orton really wants to go to a school that has an amazing fanbase, and he mentioned that UK was his leader because of our amazing fan base.
Wow i just watched Orton rip down a nasty board and throw it down with 2 hands even with the contact. The more I'm watching this kid, the more i want him!!

Playing multiple games is tough for anyone. I think the young man should realize he needs to improve his conditioning, and therefore decide to attend a school whose head Coach demands it. There is one Coach who comes to mind who will get you into shape.
