Daniel Orton has compiled a list of seven potential schools that he might sign with. There is no doubt that all seven schools are sitting with their tounges hanging out with the idea of signing Orton. However many seem to think that Kentucky is the leader for his 2009 services, but Orton continues to say he's wide open. The Oklahoma City native was just crowned an AAU national champion along side his teammate Xavier Henry. He did mention how the college coache's corner seemed all but empty towards the end of the tournament, but said he noticed 3 men sitting and watching till the end. Who were those 3 men? Our very own Billy Gillispie, Memphis coach John Calipari, and Kansas coach Bill Self. BCG and Bill Self have a deep history with each other, however most recently BCG has been winning major recruiting battles over Bill Self, as it seems many 2009 and 2010 prospects are keeping UK high on their list while KU is continually being eliminated. That is a great testimony towards the work ethic of our coach. BCG will be the last one to give up on Daniel Orton, you can count on that!
