I just want to say thanks to UKosumu for finding all these recruits, but can you like combine some of them together?

Im not complaining at all, I love to see who we are going after. But, the whole page is consumed by Recruit Watch threads. Idk maybe its me but I get confused when Im looking for a certain thread.:shrug1:

I agree. UKoSumu u r doing a fantastic job, but it would be simpler if it could be combined into a single thread. But no complaints here, you are doing a fantastic job

I've noticed too how they're taking over the recruiting board. hey maybe that's a good thing...that there's so many quality guys out there eyeing the Cats !

my suggestion: have a "recruit watch "thread for each class, like '09, '10, etc.

GO CATS !

Although I understand everyone's concern, my thought was it was easier to find the player you were interested in if each had their own thread. If the majority here would rather have them grouped by year then I will look into having them combined.

I'm of the opinion that separate threads is much easier for each recruiting prospect. Therefore, updated information can be provided on each recruit in a clear and concise manner.

You have to realize that Coach will look at most of the major talent, and MANY more prospects are going to be expressing interest in the Cats as we move forward in this era. Having a ton of recruiting news and updates is just something we must deal with (Oh the horror! lol).

Also, the updates would be a pure mess if you tried to put them all in one thread. You would have to scroll so much in that instance, whereas now all new info on a recruit is pretty darn obvious.

I'm really new to this site but it looks to me as if each prospect having thier own thread is indeed easier to follow. It is a shame(lol) that we have to have a thread on the many propects to keep up with;):widcat::icon_lol:.

I can understand the constructive feedback (taking up space) however, the individual posts highlight specific players and as stated allows for more coherent insight on each player.

I concur, well done

Agreed! Can you imagine multiple conversations going on at the same time in a single thread. Keep up the great work, UKosumu.

I like each recruit having his own thread. But I can see where both sides have a point. Maybe you could highlight the recuit watches a different color so its easier for people to navigate through or something.

Good idea! Recruit Watch now in italics and Blue... see how that works...

I was meaning instead of putting the recruiting watch threads under the recruiting page, it needs its own forum. It was just a suggestion??:shrug1:

these are eating this forum up , and i would like to see more threads than just a recruit watch. Does anyone else agree? Dont get me wrong I love to know who we are recruiting but id also like to see more different threads

If only Billy G wouldn't go after so many players. :icon_mrgreen:

It has been brought up before and a majority of the responses like having the separate threads for each recruit. Not trying to flood the thread or ruin anyone's forum experience. Just trying to add value to the board by keeping everyone informed on where we stand with recruits and who are going up against.

Like I said I dopnt want anyone to think im mad or complaining If we put up a recruit watch and every kid that just lists uk there would be 75 or 80 recruit watches lol

I do have to agree that this entire board is getting overrun with "recruit watch" posts. I think combining them into one or into class years would be helpful. I like reading them and seeing who we are going after but most of the time I skip over the recruting forum all together.

Is there any way to add the number of stars the player has to the thread title? I like coming here and getting a quick rundown rather than navigating hundreds of pages through rivals.

All of these have been moved to a sub-forum. Hope that helps!

:thumbup::thumbup:, WildcatDan. PERFECT!!!

Also, WCN members, you can find the sub-forum with all the recruits' threads at the very top of the recruiting forum.
