No...he accepts the fact he may not get many minutes.

Our Tay is a very realistic young pro. This team is in China to bring home gold and I believe they are each committed to the team.

Dude, he's not your 4-year old nephew. "Tay-Tay?" That sounds *ay-*ay.

Who drove the stick up your butt? As Wildcat Lover said, it's an old nickname. if you don't approve of it, perhaps you should tell him not to go by it. I am sure he will do it if you ask him. :icon_rolleyes:

I've been reading about Tayshaun for years, since he was a frosh at UK, and I've NEVER heard him refered to as "Tay-Tay."
If you're a close personal family friend of the Princes then I'm sorry my reply offended you. Otherwise, calling a grown man- a professional athlete- by a Sesame Street-level nickname just seems kinda odd to me. Just saying.

I understand where your coming from my man, but he did an interview with CBS back when he was playing for us and they asked him what his favorite nickname was, and he said..
"It probably has to be Tay-Tay. My family and friends used to call me that all the time when I was growing up in my neighborhood, and its stuck with me every since. A lot of the guys on the team right now(Kentucky) call me that."
So ever since that interview, I've heard alot of people call him that. I understand its childish, but its a nickname he cherishes and people call him by that, so I think its fine to call him that. That's just my personal opinion, but I do understand what your saying RalieghCat. :icon_mrgreen:

So what time are they on teevee tomorrow? It's maddening trying to get times from NBC's website.

I think its a shame that he gets recognized for his skill and put on team USA but whoever is over the NBA will not put him on the all star team, this shows that the NBA is only concerned about one-man shows.
