I'm guessing NoKnee wont be around, at least until LSU or UF lose or UL wins the NIT. Now that the SEC and Big East have two in the elite eight (although it took overtime for both Big East teams to make it) it shows that the SEC was a little better than he thought. First he attacks UK, but we beat UL and we made the tourny. Then he made fun of us for losing to USC, then they made the FF of the NIT. Then he said UK would get killed by UConn, but we played them to within 4 points (even with questionable calls like the out of bounds on Sparks). Then he said the Big East would dominate while the SEC would get killed, but we both have 2 teams in the final 8 even though they started with more teams in than we did. I notice that he doesnt show up when things dont go his way (which seems to be most of the time). I guess we will see him if UL beats USC or wins the NIT. Or maybe when he finds some more smack to copy and paste off of other websites. Get a life NOKnee.

I've been around...just not much to talk about. We still are playing and you are not. You guys ridiculed me whenI resorted to conference smack...now you are turning to it. We still lead the series in the $EC at 10-9 with two remaining games which SHOULD be won by the Big East. Cincy was without two of their best players in White and Muhhamed. That's 27 points taken off the team and USC squeaked by 3 points. Villanova will end Florida's fairy tale run. And you also seem to forget we had 4 teams in the Sweet 16 while you still only had two. Yes we barely got by on some games but so did LSU (Texas A&M) And even Florida couldn't exhale against 7th seeded Gtown until the final seconds. It works both ways. I will give credit to the $EC, they did FINALLY have a good showing this year after a five year drought. Will they get their first team in the Final Four since the new millennium??? We shall see. Whereas we are the odds on favorite to have HALF of the Final Four. But that is why they play the game.

Uh, tell us again, oh supposed learned one, what team did Louisville beat in the Big East Conference championship? And what was Louisville's seeding in the NCAA tournament, oh,(*finger snap*) and what teams did they play in the first couple of rounds in the NCAA's? What's that? Oh,we're sorry..You see we're trying to digest all this knowledge that you semingly have and keep forgetting that it doesn't matter if Louisville loses..the only thing that matters is where the team that BEAT them was rated at the time they lost, and it doesn't matter that Louisville spent time with the other bottom feeders in the Big East, the Cardinals were in the Big East so they get to ride on the accolades of the other schools simpy by association. We're also having a hard time grasping the fact that history and records aren't relevant to a discussion concerning sports unless those records either favor Louisville outright or they can be manipulated to look like they do..

Let's see now, where were the Cardinals again on this year's NCAA bracket..what region did they play in again?

First of all, we arent resorting to conference smack, we are simply telling you to shutup before the games are played. You bashed the SEC up and down as overrated on this board over and over. We have 2 in the Elite 8 and one (so far) in the FF. You have 2 in the elite eight. Time to give the SEC some credit. Second of all, its not South Carolinas fault that UCs players dont get the grades needed to play. UCs own teammates bashed them for "failing the team." USC won, no matter who played (USCs best player balkman was out the whole second half). So what if you have half the final four? We could have half or at least a fourth of it. Does that make your league so much better? NO. The gap was not very big between the Big East and SEC. Definitly not as big as you made it out to be. Give credit where credit is due. As for your opening sentance about "were playing and you are not." Are you really posting this on a smack forum? I mean, lets be serious. You are playing in a tourny that NO ONE cares about but the teams actually in it. The NIT is the leftover tourny. Its the "hey we feel bad for the losers who didnt make it in the real tourny, so lets have a tourny for them to play in." And you are gonna try to talk smack about that? If thats what the NIT does to your mind then im glad UK will never have to play in it.

I saw it. And he should be embarrassed. It was a perfect example of how when you throw mud you can't help but have some of it stick to you.

The place where he got it took it down and reprimanded the originator. If anything it clearlyexemplified the extreme that one will go to to try and boost their own warped self interest.

This board can be a real hoot, but when someone starts to spend their every waking moment in a search for self verification through suchvile measuresit's time for that person to take a long look in the mirror.

I've been busy watching the big boys' tournament, so I didn't see whatever it was NOknee posted, but evidently it was in even worse taste than usual.

Actually, NOknee is in an enviable position, if you think about it; he roots for a program with lower expectations, so if they do well (a Final Four once in a blue moon, etc.), he can brag, and if they don't, it's "Well, we weren't that good to start with", and disappointment is minimized.

From that position, it's easy to take potshots at those of us with higher standards.

Now that the games have been played and the BIG East has no teams in and the SEC has half the Final Four, will you at least give credit to the SEC? I somehow doubt that you will. You will say something about how we are playing the "conference smack" game since our team is out. Lets just remember who started this whole game. YOU! You bragged all day about the Big East and how you would have half the final four. Now you have none. The SEC was probably not as good top to bottom as the Big East, but they were by far the second best conference in this tourny. Can we at least hear you say that? Or are you to busy breaking down that South Carolina - UL matchup in the Final Four???

Yea rickdacatkilla is a class act. He talks good smack, admits when he has bad smack, and doesn't put down the greatest university in Kentucky in a way thats offensive. I enjoy his smack and all UL haters should appreciate it because fans likemedo not have n e IU fans on here to talk smack to.
