As some of you may know, I go to a different city almost every year with 8 to 10 guys and go to sporting events. We usually go in September as we can see baseball, college football and the NFL.

We are flying into Buffalo and will check out Niagara Falls. We will then trek down to Toronto (we are staying downtown) and catch the BlueJays vs Baltimore one night and the Red Sox the next night. Toronto has a college football game on Saturday and then we will head to Buffalo(staying downtown) on Saturday late afternoon. The Bills Raiders game will be on Sunday.

Any advice on bars, restaurants and sites to go to. We will probably go to the Hockey Hall of Fame while in Toronto. Any advice or recommendations of fun places to go would be greatly appreciated.

Toronto is great. Probably the cleanest "big city" I've ever visited.
Can't remember any specific bars, but we stayed close to the University downtown, so there were loads of bars and restaurants (lots of good ethnic food, too).
Felt pretty safe roaming the streets drunk at 2 in the morning, too, so you really can't go wrong. I was only there for an overnighter, so sorry I couldn't be more help.
Make sure you go to the top of the CN Tower, and Gretzsky's restaurant has one of those "old school" table-top hockey games that was a complete deja-vu blast to play.

Enjoy.

Go to Toronto's Toronto Chinatown / Kensington Market. I don't remember the restaurant we tried, but it was great. Open air market, restaurants, not quite Frisco but close.

The only advice about Buffalo is to get out of that pit of a city fast! It's dirty and industrial and just not a nice place to visit.

Spend at least 1-2 days at the Falls, it's incredible! Stay on the Canadian side, they have 2 casinos that are much nicer than what you'll find on the American side, as well as a lot more places to go.

The CN Tower was awesome. We took our kids so didn't get to check out the bar scene.

I agree with the most about staying on the Canadian side of the Falls. We stayed at the Marriott which was really nice. I think our room was called the Family suite...........it had a sitting area overlooking the falls. Niagara Falls..the city reminds me a lot of Gatlinburg, TN. Ripley's believe it or not, and other "tourist traps" suck you in if you have kids.

I would take the Maid fo the Mist and the Behind the Falls tours. Dress warmly.
