All should know there will be a memorial Service for our good friend David Hall September 13th near Roanoke, VA. Many remember him as HC or HumbleCat from a prior board. There were few men who loved the Wildcats or this board more than he.
I will be contacting his "widow" Margie soon to find out more details and you can PM me for info on the service later this week.
I will print this thread for her to save with the other scrapbook items she pulled from this site.
So if you want to leave a message for her please post it here.

Jeff:
Lisa and I will be on our west coast trip on the 13th. Please express our condolences and that we wish we could be there to Margie. The good news is we will be in Utah with Terry on the 13th, so we will be together to raise a glass in his honor and remembrance.

For those that did not join the chat during the game, a glass was raised in David's honor during the first half.
Thanks to all that participated.

A Memorial Service, I must have missed something. :icon_sad: I am so sorry to hear he is no longer on this earth with us.
I talked to HC and Marge at several of our tailgates. Good, genuine people.
HC was usually in the chat room during basketball games. I remember one time I said something that was misworded (is that a word...;)) or mis-spelled and he laughed. He later pm'd me apologizing. He was worried that he had offended me. I assured him I didn't take myself that seriously. What a fine, fine gentleman.
My sincere condolence to the family.
