Maybe he should ask Tayshaun, Chuck and Raekalin about leaving the west coast. Yes it is a distance but you will fall in love with the Bluegrass soon enough Deon. Plus with family in Louisville he wouldn't entirely be alone.

Well Tayshaun might ask why didnt you take my god-brother... but that is for a different day and argument.

Those moves sometimes work... they cant hurt but more often than not...it isnt a solid move.

why would he rescind? based on the info that everyone has supplied, it appears that he really likes UK. god, i really dont wanna lose this guy. he looks solid.

That isnt the problem... try not to read TOO MUCH into it. He said basically what else would he see except a 30 minute "show. All schools do it... it isnt a drawing card.

Tubby is back out there to ask him to go ahead and take the visit but if he doesnt it isnt the end of the world ...

He is CONSIDERING not coming on the official visit for Midnight Madness. not that HE IS or ISNT. He is still scheduled (at least noted by the recruiting services).

BUt he has said he MAY NOT make the trip.

Latest word per D. B. of the CatsPause is that the in-home went well with Deon, especially with Mom. DeonWILL be coming to MM. Another interesting note is that Christopher sat next to Tubby at Tay's wedding and that afterwardsthere seemed to be some "talk" going on between his family and hisCoach - a reassesment of the Cal commit? Now, let's see how the Jasper visit goes. The Tubster has been criticized in the past for "sitting back" on the top recruits, but it seems that he's really been on the ball for the '06 class. No commits yet, but he's got a stable full of top recruits that are really serious about Ky. More than we have schollys for, so I see a full boat oftop players coming in for '06 - just a matter of which ones. Between now and the end of the November signing period will be very interesting. And there's still the Spring signing period where the Tubster seems to shine. Once we getthose firstcommits, the list will go down as the spots are filled and the "plan" developes. The '06 class will rival or surpass the '04 one. We're in for a ride the next couple of years - #8 and #9are very real possibilities.
