Below is a link to a website I've put together concerning LeRoy "Cowboy" Edwards, who was an All-American at UK in the 1930's.

There's a ton of information there. If anyone has any additional information about him or lives in places like Chicago and Indianapolis etc. and would be willing to do some research etc., let me know.

I am replying to this to let people know that I've recently updated this to include two web pages.

The first goes into much more detail about the game in 1935 between Kentucky and New York University. This game was historic for many reasons. It is the game that can be directly attributed to lead to adoption of the 3-second rule in basketball, which in turn was due to NYU's efforts to contain Edwards in the paint.

This can be accessed from the main Edwards link

which puts you inside the Edward's site frames, or via a more direct link

The second addition is a page which discusses an interesting competition between Edwards and John Wooden for individual game scoring and team honors during the inagural 1937-38 NBL season. It seems that at the time the game was finally opening up (which in part can be traced to the elimination of the center jump after made baskets) and records started to fall at an alarming rate.

Here's the link to that.

If anyone has any comments, corrections etc., please let me know.
