Jerry Reed, a singer who became a good ol' boy actor in car chase movies like "Smokey and the Bandit," has died of complications from emphysema at 71.

Just..............Damn.
He's been one of my favorites for decades and was a regular rotation among my mp3's, cd's, etc.
Amos Moses, When You're Hot You're Hot, Here Comes The Judge, Lord, Mr. Ford and many others....................RIP.

Thanks for that, Matt.
It's easy for some to forget just how talented a musician he was because of some of his movie roles and some of the light-hearted music he produced.
Along the lines of Ray Stevens. Stevens is an excellent pianist with a great voice and a greater knack for humor. :beer:
