Interesting. I am 6'2'', and I have never considered myself "tall". I always thought I was of average height. But looking at these averages, I suppose I am. Who knew?

I'm 6'3 myself, and in most cases I've found myself to be taller than most people I know or am around.

I read recently that relatively very few people in the US are taller than 6'3". That's the benchmark for "tall."

Geez, I'm about 6'4" and always felt marginally taller than most people. Except when I went to Japan, I felt like a giant.

So, that means that I am an inch shorter than the average man. No wonder I had problems finding dates with men who were taller than me...

I knew a tall lady professor who did research on which state had the most tall men and moved to that state because of it--Tennessee. Don't have any idea where she got the research and wish I would have known because I could have moved in with my brother's family as a nanny/personal assistant when I was looking. :icon_biggrin:

So one of the lowest-lying countries on Earth, The Netherlands, is the tallest country on Earth.

I'm 6'5" and down in Miami once went to Calle de Ocho, which is a Latin street festival and it had close to a million people show up.

Needless to say I had no problem navigating through the emense crowds as i could see over everyone.

Also I like being taller, as alot of times i get to help the older ladies shopping at walmart get stuff off the top shelves...it happens almost everytime i go.:icon_mrgreen:
