A few New Shows will start this week. Tonight Heroes will take up 2 1/2 hours if you count the countdown to premiere that begins at 8. I have seen a couple previews of this and it looks to be a bit more glitzzed up this season. Actors older too.
Since I love techie things and even though I know it will probably be a lousy show I am looking forward to the new Knight Rider show which airs Wednesday at 8 followed by a new AGT season. A couple more this week too I think.

I think Fringe is fantastic. Last week's episode was the most disturbing thing I've ever seen on broadcast prime-time television. But not in a bad way... in a totally engrossing way.
None of the other new shows really look that interesting though, but I already have enough on my plate with Heroes, House, Prison Break, Pushing Daisies, Chuck and a couple of others. :)

Thanks for mentioning this show. I had not seen it. I just watched the first two episodes online and they were great. Pitiful streaming from Fox though. :(

Yea it was a decent show...had different horror directors do each episode, wonder what happened to it?

I tried to watch Heros. Is it just me or is that show getting more and more hard to follow with each episode? I've lost track. they keep adding new characters without getting rid of old ones, nobody can die, Claire can recover from having the top of her skull removed and her brain picked at by Sylar. now we are being introduced to "villains" when I still have yet to figure out who the good and bad guys are from the original crew. maybe thats all by design though.
I think I'll settle for more brain candy shows like Earl, the Office, Survivor, etc.

I'd never heard of Fear Itself until reading this thread. I'm a big horror fan so I'll definitely be checking this one out. Thanks for the heads up!

I love Heroes! It definitely helps if you have been watching the show since the beginning, but I have a feeling that if you keep watching for a few episodes that you could get caught up. I can't wait to see what they are going to do this season since last season was cut short by the writer's strike.
House is back in full swing! Woo hoo!
My wife loves Dancing with the Stars. I tolerate it because some of those professional dancers on there are simply stunning!
Can't wait to see how they wrap up the final season of ER - I am another one who has been watching that since the very first episode.
Smallville kicked back off last week and looks to be as good as ever!
Good shows all, but thank goodness for TIVO!

Here is a link I found and it looks as if 8 shows actually got aired, but was set to show 13. You can see the ratings drop, maybe thats why it isnt around?

Anybody watching Sons of Anarchy? I've seen the first 2 episodes and I like it so far.
I rather watch HBO series but I've watched every episode on DVD so I have to wait for the new seasons (Entourage is one). I also like Weeds (from Showtime) and again.. waiting on the next season to be released. I loved Sopranos, Rome and Deadwood which are all finished or canceled.

I like Sons of Anarchy. I love Ron Perl's character. I am interested to see what the FBI agent is really up to.

I need to watch this show! It's filmed in my old neighborhood in LA.
Here's a thread off our Foothills Forum about it. People are being notified about upcoming filming involving "simulated full load gunfire".

As far as my favorite shows.... Madmen is far and away the best show going. I would say it is my second favorite behind the Sopranos for recent shows.
Then on the Golf Channel, a new Big Break starts next month. Think of "Survivor With A Sand Wedge". Someone gets eliminated each week after some kind of challenge - if they don't have immunity.

OK, I just watched the first episode. Is that the same person that played "Gary" - the football player who is paralyzed in Remember The Titans ? He looked familiar. Also, the ex-wife looked like "Adrianna" from The Sopranos, but I would think this would be a step down for her. Was it her?
So, I saw my high school, my friend's neighborhood, etc. That was pretty cool. Ironically, my 40th reunion was Saturday night but I couldn't make it to LA this time.
Interesting show. I'm hooked..........

Thats my problem with it...I have been watching it since the beginning, and It just seems that the further they get into it the more muddied it gets for me.

Anybody watch Criminal Minds? I got into earlier this year and can't get enough of it.
Also, still love all the Law and Orders.

ER kicked off its final season last night and wrote out one of the main characters... good episode but very sad for folks that have been watching the show for a long time.
Survivor also started back up and I am not sure if I am going to like it this year or not. There seem to be a TON of obnoxious people on there this year and so far I have not been able to pick out a person who is truely likable. Time will tell... it is always a bit rough at the beginning.

One of my favorites, Survivor, started last night. I always enjoy it. I agree with WildcatDan about the cast, but that's part of the fun...watching people behave badly.
I think my new favorite this season will be Fringe. I'm addicted already.

Yep, that is him and I had to look closer when I thought he looked so familiar. And that is also Adrianna from Sopranos playing the junkie ex-wife of Jax.
That is pretty cool to see your hometown on a TV show!

Survivor is going to be a hoot this year..alot of nasty people but that is what makes it fun
