Is there anyway to embed videos from The Onion?

I've tried the [flash] element referred to in the YouTube thread but it doesn't seem to work.

Any suggestions?

It seems like with the new version of the software all you have to do is put the full URL to the Youtube video into your message and it will pick it up automatically and display it correctly. I am at work so I cannot test it, so let me know if that works.

Thanks, I tried several different ways of pasting in the link, from including the entire <embed> tag to just the URL's in the tag but they don't appear to work.

Hey, WildcatDan, I just re-read your post and I think perhaps you misunderstood mine.

I'm not asking about YouTube videos. I'm asking about videos from the Onion.

For example, here's a link to the one I posted in the political forum:
