No we are still here, but what do you want us to say? I still support my team but we have a coach who is a clown and a team that is not very good.Right now I dont think Kragthorpe is any better than Ron Cooper. OUCH!! So again I ask what do we say? We cant really smack the Cats, they are winning so it would be foolish to smack them. So far you have beat 4 patsies...yes right now that would include us. Your $EC schedule starts now so we will see if the Cats are for real or just a team that is 4-0 who hasnt played anyone.

NOW THIS IS A RED LETTER (NO PUN INTENDED) DAY! Someone please do a cut and paste and save this comment!!! I never thought I would see the day when a Cardinal fan would refer to his own team as a "patsy" and included the Cards in a list of nobody teams. But it happened! We will probably never see this again and without proof they can always deny every saying it.
Sorry, CRB, I have the utmost respect for you, but there's no way I could pass that one up! LOL!

I'm still around. Hasn't been much going on here lately and I haven't been checking in as much.
I don't know how you UK fans have done it for all those years. My team has sucked the last two seasons and I have pretty much lost interest in all College Football.

That is exactly what a lot of UK fans have been trying to get across for several years. When uavel is up. they're fans are everywhere, but when they're down, you can't find one anywhere. OTOH, you can find KENTUCKY fans everywhere and all the time.

I can assure you as a 39 years season ticket holder, I have been thru some rough and bad seasons. Funny how on a bad day Commonwealth will still put around 40,000 in the stands. Might not all be there at the end, but will show up. As far as the rest of the season. Would not dare take a bet. We are in for some rough sailing on unpredictable waters, but I will be with my tailgate buddies before and after the game and in my seat. At least the seasons are looking better and better in the future. You birdies have only lost 2 games. Sheesh. Spoiled are you?

UK fans have gone through ALOT over the ages(Rupp and texas Western, Sutton and his whole mess, Petino leaving and coming back to UL, Tubby and his problems, and a heck of alot more.)

Louisville is finding out that they have one of the same problems any program does. Fair weather fans. Easy to be a fan when things look good.
Easy to find another sport when you go through those four and five year dead zones. Believe me, I know. Been guilty myself.
What's weird is to see the UT boards in meltdown mode. Sheeeeesh....they lost to a couple of pretty good teams in Florida and Auburn. And the west coast game was just a freak thing.
Man....Fulmer could finish at 7-5, go to a bowl, and still get fired....course, these UT fans and commentators were the same ones giving UK down the road about coach Smith in basketball.

Things are alot worse with UT football than it was with Tubby's last few years. Unless I'm wrong, Tubby's teams still had winning records, and made the tournament almost every year. His teams were still competitive with the other big schools
The Ut football program is facing a losing season. After going 5-6 in 2005, I don't think Fulmer will survive another bad year. It's not just losing to Florida or Alabama, but The Vols are getting blown out.
I say send Phil to Minnesota, so Tubbs and Phil can relive the glory days.

There was around 90, 000 for the Northern Illinois game. Most were curious to see the new QB Nick Stephens performance.

Well, the price of gas is lower.
My 401K is a hell of a lot lower, the price of everything is highter. Recession, don't even bother to try and get a loan or mortgage.
Plus 2 straight loses, losing your best receiver, a quarterback that can't hit a pass over 5 yards, and a bunch of receivers that like to drop balls.
life is great.
