I think I might have found a new manager for the Cincinnati Reds. I would love to see Sweet Lou Pinella come back. What do you all think Reds Fans? Assume he doesn't take that season off?

I would like to see him come back but I don't think the Reds management will pay what it would take to bring him back. Look for Narron to be back next season as the Reds announced yesterday evening that O'Brien, the GM, will be back for another season.:(

As for Pinella the Reds will never pay his $2 million payout in Tampa, and if they did I think he wants to be a Yankee.Boo.:X

I've been thinking about it,are you sure you didn't hear that Steve Stewart had been resigned for next year?O'Brien was already working under a 3 year contract and this is year 2.

I would love to see Pinella back on the bench for us. I think he could turn the Reds around into a winner!

I would have no problem with Pinella coming back.
Also, how about Dave Johnson? He was doing a great job until Marge Schott stuck her nose in things and made him leave. Is he still around?

No it was on Redszone.com. Here's the link to it on the enquirer.com.

To beat it all John Allen praised O'Brien for the good job he had done so far. I would have fired O'Brien just for the Milton signing not to mention other horrible signings.

Its time for the reds ownership to open up their tight pockets and spend a little cash!

totally agree! They need pitching and now a top level manager. This team would be winning championships I believe if we had pitching. We have the hitters just not the pitchers.
