Who is the better QB?
Myself, I feel like Cobb is the more talented of the three, but it's absurd to throw those stats out there to make an arguement. What Cobb did against FCS division Norfolk St. is pretty meaningless. That said, it's my hope that he will see actual series at QB next week instead of just a snap here or there. He undoubtedly has the better arm, and can make plays with his feet as well. Right now, Hartline is shakey at best at making much of anything happen.

Fiddler and Cobb with 11 pass attemts between them.
The thing about Cobb, they have to play the run with him.
Hartline seems like he is in a rush. He doesn't want to be hit. When he goes down the field, he gets in a hurry and it is either too high or too wide.
I just don't think that Hartline has it in him. I don't think he has the confidence. I don't think he has the talent.

I think he has it in him, but I really feel he is trying so hard not to make a mistake it has him totally unrelaxed, out of whack and uncomfortable to lead the team.
He can get it done but until he finds his way Cobb should get some consistant time at QB. A change of pace at this point cant hurt.

What I don't understand about the reactions to today's game is that UK gives up a long return that sets up TD and has block FG returned for a TD and all the scrutiny falls on the QB Hartline.

We can't look at Cobb's QB stats as anything meaningful. He played against Louisville and Norfolk State at QB. And both of those teams are terrible. Hartline has made some SEC starts, so I don't expect a first-year QB to do much better than he's done.

Not only that, but you just can't compare 11 attempts to 165.
