In that department, it wasn't nearly as bad as the loss to Florida in 1993.

I was disguested about many aspects of the game which all pointed to exactly what SCBlu points out. But I am taking away some positives.

1. The D is continuing to do their job in SEC play. They are yet to give up more points than our team puts on the board. Without the offense and special teams giving up points, we could be undefeated thansk to the play of the D. Forcing 4 turnovers plus 2 fumbles that we didn't recover is awesome!

2. While we didn't complete passes down field, we threw that way multiple times. Most of it was over the middle to the tight ends and once to the back of the endzone to Lyons. If we could either get passes that were just a little better or receivers making a great play, the offense will be good enough to do what it needs to do.

3. Locke going in motion to the slot worked well. If we can work is some more creativity like the handoff to Locke in motion we used on the first play or maybe giving it to Cobb in motion with the option to pass, those sorts of play can really slow the pursuit of the D down.

4. A 51 yard field goal completion!?!?!? When was the last time we had that?????

In the end, I'm pretty much where I have been all year with this team that we aren't as good overall as last year, our D will have to carry us like the O did last year, we are young, but if we mature well during the season we've got another bowl game at the end of the year.
