Some of what he says is true of course, but he sure has a nasty way of getting his point across. Maybe it's more that I just don't like the guy?

I'm sure that a lot of IU fans were not too happy to read his article this morning. And yes, some are not too happy with the hire to begin with.

I had completely forgotten the fact Sampson was going to take Carruth when he left UK. That alone tells me Bozo is correct about the hire. It is pitiful and the Indiana basketball coaching jobis not elitein today's game.

Bozo got something right for once. But I am not going to get too excitedand think he has been born again.

The Carruth thing is not even worth mentioning. So what? He gave the kid a second chance, laid down the rules, and luckily found out it was not worth the risk before the kid could even step foot in his first class. Sampson did not hesitate to kick Carruth away when Carruth broke a rule. For all we know, Tubby talked to Sampson about Carruth and tried to get Carruth a second chance with Sampson. Trying to make his point by pointing to Carruth is just plain weak.

All I know is that Sampson is well respected within the realms of his profession. Has done a solid job at Oklahoma, did what he needed to do with Carruth and all the rest is allegations.

Once again, Bozich must have had a slow day at the office. Yet another undeserved hatchet job.

I say - let the passage of time, and accomplishment measure whether this was a good hire or not.
