I noticed that South Carolina and Michigan, the finalists in your NIT, are the two previous years NIT champs. UM in 04 and USC in 05. It looks like the NIT has been a great launching pad for another strong NIT run.

So here is a big :thumbupfor you guys.

I sincerely hope that your 05-06 season final-4 run in the NIT helps catapult you to the sucess of UM and USC. I hope that you can pull off a "bannerhanging" NIT championship in 06-07.

Good luck guys. You deserve it.

Why thank you Lesster!

Allow me to wish the same good luck back to UK and its depleted roster next season. I sincerely hope Tubby can find another 7 foot center to sit the bench.

I think it is entirely possible for UK to have far less talent next season and still have comparable results to this year! With a little extra teamwork you all might surpass this season results!

I noticed South Carolina lost to Georgia at home this season. If Louisville would schedule Georgia in Freedom Hall next season I predict they would have a better chance to win the NIT after losing to the Dawgs.

Do they hang banners in Freedom Hall for losing in the Final Four one year and not even making the tournament the next?

You keep right on with this stuff, Yuleofell. You're gonna find out just how DEPLETED our team is next season.

Keep in mind, Wildcat fans, this guy is the same one who downplayed South Carolina as an opponent prior to the NIT game, saying they were just "average".

Oh, and before you start saying I'm making it up, here's the direct quote:

"LSU and Florida deserve their spots. Tennessee had very definite weaknesses. Alabama was not that good. S. Carolina was very average."
